Leigh Central is located just 1 hour north of Auckland on the east coast, nestled in the heart of the seaside village of Leigh.
At Leigh Central, we believe in giving you the flexibility to create the wedding day of your dreams, which is why we offer a unique, comprehensive hire service. When you book our stunning venue with ocean views, you have the freedom to style your event and choose your caterer and beverages. Our wedding package even includes the day before access to give you plenty of time to set up. This lets you create the look you want, select catering to suit your tastes and budget and save on expensive bar prices. You have total control to create a truly personalised experience that reflects your unique style and taste. At Leigh Central, we provide all the essentials you need to make your wedding day a success, such as tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, and a fully equipped commercial kitchen.

The Seaview Room
Our stunning indoor and outdoor spaces are the perfect backdrop for your celebration, with breathtaking sea views and contemporary coastal décor that can be customised to your preferences. The Seaview Room is a large, airy space which flows onto the sunny deck and down into the flat lawn, the perfect spot for an intimate ceremony. Here you can exchange your vows while taking in the panoramic views of the ocean surrounded by your loved ones. Whether planning an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, we have everything you need to make your wedding day unforgettable. Unlike other venues, no matter the weather, your wedding can go ahead as planned without stress.

We offer three different bar areas to serve your guest’s refreshing beverages. Our Seaview Room bar has a service fridge and a walk-in chiller for extra cold storage. The bar has two beer taps, so you can have your favourite chilled golden nectar flowing all night. In addition to this, we also have an outdoor bar next to the wedding lawn to keep the bubbles topped up for the ceremony.
In addition to our signature Seaview Room, we have an additional intimate space in the Courtyard Lounge, with its small bar and charming brick-walled courtyard area; this is the perfect space for extending your function or hosting a post-wedding breakfast for your guests the following morning. Our commercial kitchen is spacious and modern, featuring commercial appliances; everything your caterer will need to create a culinary masterpiece. From ovens and stovetops to refrigeration and dishwashing facilities, our kitchen is a dream for any chef.
Accommodation on Site
By Choosing to host your wedding at Leigh Central, you’ll not only have a stunning venue but also the added benefit of onsite accommodation for your guests. This means that your loved ones can fully enjoy the festivities without worrying about transportation. There is ample parking onsite for all guests.
Our well-appointed Coastal motel rooms and Boatshed cabins offer very comfortable accommodation for up to 30 Guests, while our 14 motorhome sites can be hired exclusively for your use. Our two-bedroom standalone cottage, ‘The Bach, ’ offers the perfect space for the bride to get ready or host your family. With all these fantastic lodging options at the venue, your guests can relax and fully immerse themselves in the joyous celebration without any stress. We reserve all of the accommodations for your wedding guests.

Conference Room at Leigh Central
Welcome to our versatile venue, designed to cater for all your corporate event needs. At Leigh Central, we take pride in offering an ideal space for a wide range of uses, with our Courtyard Lounge standing out as the perfect destination for your next corporate off-site meeting or planning day.
The Courtyard Lounge is charming and functional. Outfitted with working tables, a whiteboard, a presentation screen, and a projector, it ensures a seamless and productive environment for your meetings and workshops. Need some fresh air and relaxation during breaks? Step into our charming private brick courtyard, a delightful oasis perfect for unwinding and enjoying coffee breaks.

This inviting space comfortably accommodates up to 25 people in a U-shaped conference layout or up to 40 guests at separate tables, providing flexibility for various group sizes and configurations. Access to our small bar area featuring a drinks chiller you can fill with your own refreshments.
ACCOMMODATION
If you’re planning an overnight conference and seeking accommodation for your team, our onsite Motel Accommodation offers five stylish, self-contained Motel units and a 2-bedroom lodge.
Each unit can be enjoyed for single occupancy, accommodating up to 7 guests or semi-shared for 9 individuals.
Tariffs range from $150 to $185 per night, depending on the season and length of booking.
